On July 15, 2026, the GravityZone Management Console Web Appliance experienced a period of degraded performance. Between approximately 23:40 UTC and 2:05 UTC (on July 16), some users may have encountered intermittent login failures. Users who were already logged in may have noticed that portlets and dashboards were slow to load or failed to load intermittently. During this period, the overall responsiveness of the Web Appliance may have appeared laggy. At no point was endpoint protection affected. Security services on protected endpoints continued to operate normally.
Impact The impact was limited to the GravityZone Management Console Web Appliance user interface. Potential user-facing symptoms included: • Intermittent login failures between 23:40 UTC and 2:05 AM UTC • Portlets and dashboards not loading consistently • Slower-than-normal management console response times • General perceived lag when using the Web Appliance Endpoint protection functionality was not impacted.
Root Cause The root cause of the incident was identified as high resource consumption by the php8.3-fpm process on the Web Appliance. This elevated resource usage caused degraded responsiveness of the management console and contributed to intermittent failures when users attempted to log in or load dashboard components.
Resolution The issue was identified and corrected. After remediation, resource usage returned to normal operating levels and the GravityZone Management Console Web Appliance resumed expected performance.
Corrective and Preventive Actions Corrective measures were taken to reduce the likelihood of similar occurrences in the future. These measures included addressing the excessive php8.3-fpm resource consumption and applying safeguards to improve stability and performance of the Web Appliance under similar conditions.
Current Status The issue has been resolved. The GravityZone Management Console Web Appliance is operating normally, and endpoint protection remained unaffected throughout the incident.
